This is an interesting question. In theory, CBD will not show up on a drug test because CBD has no illegal compounds or psychoactive elements to it that would impair someone. CBD itself isn’t a drug that inhibits individuals or their ability to do tasks or activities.
However, CBD products may contain THC in them, but that trace amount should be no higher than .3% THC. Hemp plants are only allowed legally if they contain less than .3% of THC, meaning that the CBD products derived from the plant should contain no less than that amount. Some companies will have their products go through multiple tests and processes in order to remove as much THC as possible, making a pure CBD creation. If you were to get a drug test, it is possible that THC could be found. It’s important to make sure you’re buying a CBD product that can confirm no trace amounts of THC.
